When did you first start hooping?
I've been hooping since September 09

Would you call yourself a beginner, intermediate or advanced hooper?
I've just reached the point where i'd feel happy calling myself intermediate. :D

How often do you hoop?
I try to set aside 30min a day, but more often I'm just picking up the hoop as and when the mood takes me.

Do you have an indoor hoop space?
Yes, we have a back room i can hoop in, its unfinished so alittle cold but still a great hoop space. It may be too cold to hoop in once the snow comes so i may be switching to living room hooping then.

Is there a hoop group where you live?
No hoop group but there do seem to be a few hoopers :D

Would you say that you are obsessed with or addicted to hooping?
A little of both :P

Have you posted hooping videos? How many?
None, i'm still too shy to be posting videos.

Do you have friends nearby to hoop with?
I've only recently moved so i am only just finding hooping friends.

Do you teach hooping? If so, how many people have you taught?
No but i think I'd really like to try teaching

What kind of songs do you listen to while hooping?
I kinda have weird tastes in music, and they change regularly. But right now my hooping play list has a little metal, rock big band music and jpop on it.

What is your favorite song right now?
Shura by DOES its a title song from the anime Gintama, awesome hooping song though. Also Jules Hollands version of Tuxedo Junction if pretty cool to hoop to as well, i've yet to get my glen miller out to hoop to the original but i will defiantly be trying it.

Do you buy hoops or make your own?
Just getting into making my own now.

Have you lost weight since starting to hoop?
I haven't weighed myself in a long time, but i would say my overall shape and muscle tone has improved since starting hooping.

What size is your favorite hoop?
35" and as light as possible, i can work a kids 32" pretty well if there are no adult hoops around to :D

Are you comfortable hooping by yourself in a public place?
My confidence has improved a lot lately so yeah i think i would be comfortable hooping in public now.

How did you learn the majority of the tricks you know today?
youtube, hoopinguniversity.com, particularly Spirals tutorials

Who is your favorite hoop teacher?
Caroleena, Safire and Spiral

What advice would you give to to beginner hoopers?
Don't dismiss something because you think it is impossible, new things are always worth trying, it may take time but you'll get there in the end.
Also, don't get caught up in what others believe to be the "perfect hooper" everyone is different and should be free to express themselves however they see fit.

Do you fire hoop? If not, do you want to?
No but i'd like to try sometime in the future

Do own an LED hoop? Where did you get it?
Nope but i plan on making my own when i can afford the materials.

How much time do you spend on Hoop City Hooping Community?
I'm on and off all day.

What was the first trick you learned (besides waist hooping)?
Hmm first actual trick was probably the vortex

What is the last trick you mastered?
I wouldn't say mastered but Hooping on one leg and stepping back into the hoop from that without beating the hell outta my shin lol

What trick so far was the hardest for you to learn?
Chest hooping arms in it took me months, but i got it and now its defiantly one of my favorite moves

Which one are you finding is almost impossible to get?
Elbow pass behind the back, I'm feeling a little stuck with it right now.

How many hoopers would you say live in your town/city?
There's 2 that i know of, but i have been told that there are more, i'm still in the process of finding people.

Have you performed hooping in front of an audience?
I've hooped for my husband, that's about it though.

Has anyone told you you were too old to be playing with a hula hoop?
I've never been told this but when i tell people i hoop dance i do tend to get that "your too old for that" stare.

What’s the worst injury you’ve acquired from the hoop?
Nothing major, i do have quite an impressive bruise on my shoulder right now though.

Have you ever hooped naked?
No, I'd be too embarrassed.
