- hi, I saw your post that that you are writing a paper. The Hoop has given me a new self confidence and also has given me a new outlet to express myself. I also Hoop for other's, I feel by being able to introduce Hoops to other people and enrich their lives in a way they never expected gives me a whole other joy in life.... I have seen the effect's the hoop has in so many way's, I have a friend that has lost 130lbs from hooping. other's I know have stopped taking their anti-depressants and other medications.The Hoop has power over the mind and body .Hooping has created relationship's in my life i feel will last a long time..
