When did you first start hooping? Really hooping & not giving up in 5 minutes? 2008

Would you call yourself a beginner, intermediate or advanced hooper? Intermediate-ish

How often do you hoop? 30 minutes a day on average. Well that's the goal.

Do you have an indoor hoop space? Living room in front of the TV and also our unfinished bedroom : 4 walls, wooden floor and a wall-sized mirror!

Is there a hoop group where you live? Yes.

Did you start it? Nope.

Would you say that you are obsessed with or addicted to hooping? Currently, yes.

Have you posted hooping videos? yes.

Do you have friends nearby to hoop with? I have gotten quite a few of my colleagues & friends into it! It has become a "thing" at my parties.

Do you teach hooping? No, although I hold impromptu lessons at my parties! Would love to teach it officially someday but I don't have the time ( or hoops) to make that happen yet.

What kind of songs do you listen to while hooping? hip hop, bollywood, house. . .just turn on www.radiodanz & go!

What is your favorite song right now? Fire It Up by Sub Swara

Do you buy hoops or make your own? Buy.

Have you lost weight since starting to hoop? I think so but I'm not sure if its all the hooping.

What size is your favorite hoop? My PSIhoop is 38 inches and my Little Black Dress hoop ( black & silver from Tailspin) is 36 inches.

Are you comfortable hooping by yourself in a public place? Yes to perform, not so much with just random hooping. I'm not very gracious with slack-jawed gawkers who want to grab my hoops :)

How did you learn the majority of the tricks you know today? Hoopnotica DVDs & Youtube, SaFire's online classes.

Who is your favorite hoop teacher? Rayna ( Hoopnotica) & Safire

What advice would you give to to beginner hoopers? Don't give up. And take some aspirin!

Do you fire hoop? If not, do you want to? No, and maybe. Fire bad, tree pretty. ( Buffy fans will get that one).

Do own an LED hoop? Where did you get it? I finally got a custom Psihoop. It was pricey but worth it.

How much time do you spend on hoopcity? A fair amount! It's bookmarked on my web browser toolbar;)

What was the first trick you learned (besides waist hooping)? Prayer/Halo hooping and I guess the "Beam Me Up".

What is the last trick you mastered? Elbow roll. Yeah!!!

What trick so far was the hardest for you to learn? "whoop de-doo"

Which one are you finding is almost impossible to get? Frikkin shoulder duck-out/one-shoulder hooping. Aaaah!!!!

How many hoopers would you say live in your town/city? No idea!

Have you performed hooping in front of an audience? Yes.

Has anyone told you you were too old to be playing with a hula hoop? Nope.

What’s the worst injury you’ve acquired from the hoop? I hit myself HARD in the eyeball with a mini hoop :(

Have you ever hooped naked? Not entirely but I do have a couple of good hooptease acts I do at burlesque shows!

Have you been to a hoop camp/retreat? Which one? No, but I am thinking about going for one at some point... as long as it doesn't require me to camp in the woods or meditate...
