Would you call yourself a beginner, intermediate or advanced hooper?
I would say still a beginner but moving towards intermediate

How often do you hoop?
Lately it's been everyday, but I have gone through periods where I hoop a lot and then don't find time for it.

Do you have an indoor hoop space?
Mainly the living room but not much indoor room for it.

Is there a hoop group where you live?
I don't think so :(

Did you start it?
Yep, membership of one so far lol

Would you say that you are obsessed with or addicted to hooping?
Pretty much, I like watching videos online when I'm not actually hooping myself

Yes, a few random ones

Do you have friends nearby to hoop with?
Nope

I taught myself, does that count? lol

What kind of songs do you listen to while hooping?
Mix between bellydancing/bollywood type songs and moden pop songs

Don't have a particular fav at the moment

Do you buy hoops or make your own?
My first two were bought but have since been making my own

Have you lost weight since starting to hoop?
My weight goes up and down :( Don't think that's really due to hooping though lol

What size is your favorite hoop?
It's a large, 920mm (36”)

Are you comfortable hooping by yourself in a public place?
Yes

How did you learn the majority of the tricks you know today?
Hoopgirl workout dvd, Hoopnotica 1 and 2 dvds and then good ol' youtube

What advice would you give to to beginner hoopers?
Keep trying and keep having fun and it'll become easier over time :)

Do you fire hoop? If not, do you want to?
HAHAHA The amount of times I drop my normal hoop on myself, I think it's safe to say I am not ready for that yet. But would love to one day

Do own an LED hoop? Where did you get it?
No :( But I desperately desperately want one

What was the first trick you learned (besides waist hooping)?
Getting the hoop from my waist up into halo

What is the last trick you mastered?
Leg hooping, getting a leg out and back in again and then getting it back up my body.

What trick so far was the hardest for you to learn?
Chest hooping and the corkscrew from the back (easily done from the front but for some reason had so much trouble doing it from the back)

Which one are you finding is almost impossible to get?
Shoulder hooping

How many hoopers would you say live in your town/city?
:-| I 'think' I'm it? Could be wrong...

Have you performed hooping in front of an audience?
Yes as part of my belly dancing group, they let me do one dance as part of their set

Has anyone told you you were too old to be playing with a hula hoop?
Nope

What’s the worst injury you’ve acquired from the hoop?
Continually bruising my hands, wish they would get used to it already

Have you ever hooped naked?
LOL If I had, would I be admitting to it ;P No I haven't

Have you been to a hoop camp/retreat? Which one?
No...but they look fun
