I am an accomplished dancer and singer who has found the joy of hoola hooping, and flagging. My path is taking me into yoga, ecstatic dance and movement therapy as forms of (self) healing and expression. I am also performing with Calgary's Firestorm Performance Troupe: Fire Hoop, Fire Palm Torches, Fire Eating, and UV Flags. I am also a Fire Safety Nazi! I'm all about my local spinning community and you are more likely to see me out and about - and I must admit I'm not on Hoop City that much.

I am also WAY too crafty for my own good and create handicrafts, crocheted items, hoops and paintings on commission. I am also working to get various certifications so I can offer my services as a hoop teacher, yoga teacher ( I have just completed my yoga teacher training July 2011) and bootcamp workout trainer.

but I am still working on getting a website made and all that. I do a lot of custom work and LOVE making stuff for people. Or maybe I just make it with love... whatever.
I've also been facilitating customized workout/yoga/hooping sessions for ladies looking for a fun and holistic approach to getting healthier and utterly fabulous.

My hooping challenges: getting the hoop back up from my knees (I've done it but only when I'm dancing), cleaning up stalls, and reversals, flowers... remembering what tricks I know...

My hooping victories: jump throughs (finally starting to feel okay with them)
breaks & isolations, continuous spinning, continuous elbow passes,
rock solid hip hooping even while dancing hard, chest hooping IN REVERSE DIRECTION and seeing the how my girls (class) have progressed and the reconnection they are finding in their own bodies.
