I am thinking about attending Hoop Camp 2013. I think this will be the only year I can swing it financially, but I am concerned that it won't be worth the expense. I can't drive that far (to Cali from MN) alone and so the plane tickets would add to the camp ticket amount. Anyone who has attended or is thinking about attending or not, would you please help and give me some advice or reasoning as to why you are or are not going?

Flow Camp...finally!…

 

Soooo I am the Ceramics teacher at Color Wheel Art Studio in Decatur... and every summer we host camps for elementary age kids.  I'm planning a week long camp called "Eccentric Concentrics"... They are going to do a bunch of art projects based on the CiRCLe.... Complete with hoop making/instruction and contests and games!  It is going to be awesome :-)  I will post pictures of the art projects as I make the examples :-D

Words cannot explain how amazing HoopCamp 2010 was for me. The community, the support and the absolute talent that was displayed this year was incredibly inspiring.



I was able to attend camp this year because I won the Hoop City scholarship ticket.

I answered five questions and was rewarded ultimate bliss. I can’t thank Safire enough.

I had some training at work yesterday, I have it today too. The training is to teach us about our company, and about team work....etc.

and although I didn't realize the deeper connection till this morning, I learned alot more that work stuff there.

I learned about team work, and about listening to people, and about how not to judge.

Ah, after many weeks of traveling adventures, I’m enjoying some time at home…and remembering how many wonderful opportunities exist right in my neighborhood. I sold a couple necklaces and am working on some macramé projects for a friend. On Saturday I plan to attend Farmer’s Market with my hemp and hoops, since I haven’t been since early June. I also received an invitation to teach hooping at a youth summer camp. I’m ecstatic; this is exactly the kind of work I feel called to!
