It's that time of year again...Hoopie time! They've changed up the voting format this year to a single vote system so, please people, make considered choices...there are lots of amazing folks in the running, reflecting the beautiful evolution of hoopdance in 2009. I'm quite honored and excited to be nominated in several categories, both individually and as part of Hoop Technique.

I'm really hoping that my partner Rich Porter wins Male Hooper of the Year. Aside from being one of the most innovative hoopers ever and an incredible instructor, he plays a very active, giving role in the hoop community through his content-rich Isopop blog, as well as creating the Spin Cycle hoop camp at Burning Man.
