So some people just don't realize that my hoops and everyone elses hoops are REALLY important to them. It's like a guitar. Not that i play the guitar (not very good at least). I dont mind if people play my guitar, but dont start going crazy on the strings and dont smash it like your a rockstar. Because i'm the one that has to fix my hoops and make new ones. I really like sharing my hoops, but when i brought them to a party i set up rules to be carefull. Some kids started throwing my hoops at each other and to my specific request that no one touch my led hoop, as i was helping a little girl with her hooping a guy my age starts swinging it around and hitting the ground. I got it from him pretty quick but i was so scared hed broke it! It's okay with a few scratches but I just dont understand why some people think hoops are just there to go crazy with and it doesnt matter if they break :O

I'm glad you rescued your LED hoop; those things are precious to their owners. I think people are so used to the toy store/kiddie hoops that they don't take into account the time, effort and money that goes into a custom hoop. They think it's just a toy, so they can play rough with it.

I have a couple of hoops with mirror tape on them that I'd prefer to keep in decent condition, but I've decided that getting people to hoop is more important to me, so I've reconciled myself to the idea that those hoops are going to get beat up. I wish that weren't the case, but I'd rather have a dinged up hoop and a new hooper than a pristine hoop and a turned-off nonhooper.

If I had an LED hoop, though, you better believe I'd be guarding it closely!
