Okay, so I watched SaFire's Seeding One class on Angles & Barrel Rolls. This is like the umpeenth tutorial I've watched on these babies, and I'm still struggling. Waaahhhh! The sky angle I can handle. The earth angle? Not so much. A few rotations, and I'm looking good, a few more, and my hoop is wonky. The angle is good, but it starts shifting on my body so that eventually it is going too far up on my left side and hitting too far down (like at the outer thigh) on my right side. Why is this happening? I'm using the right technique, and I've experimented with pushing harder, softer, more on one side, trying to hike my back up more on either side, etc. Nothing is working! Grrr.

Okay, just had to vent. It's hooping, so it's all good, even the things that can get a teensy bit frustrating. I thought I'd never get chest hooping, but I finally got it. And what an incredible pride-inducing moment it was. I'll get this too. Persistence, perseverence, patience and practice, and I'll own those angles and barrel rolls!

Rant over, off to hoop another day! Hoop on!
