Well It's been a few months since I began hooping. It's going quite well, I have found myself becoming more comfortable with my hoop and finding a little flow! What I have discovered along the way, when I begin moving to music and begin to find my flow I feel a total release,a sort of calm. I feel I have finally found my form of creative expression! I have been looking for an outlet for many years! I have always considered myself a creative person but alas,I cannot write,I cannot paint or draw, I am no poet...so where was all of this emotion and creativity supposed to go??!! Into the hoop!!! This is more fun and gratifying than I had ever emagined! I am having a blast finding out how my body moves,and to make the hoop move with it! Playing with different music,tempos and beats...I feel like the real me is just begining to emerge and it feels so great!!
