Ok, so... I left for the convention and it took us ages to arrive at the silly hotel. I was so excited and impressed with all the costumes and people. Sadly I wasn't there very long before something horrible happened and I woke up in a hospital with some lady asking me if she could remove my jewelery for x-rays on my neck. (Worry not! I am fine) Anyway! long story made short I was in the hospital for about a week before I was finally aloud to go home. I don't really remember much of what happened and what I do remember I would rather not talk about. All I know is that I still have an old friends camera and he has my hoops. Lol. Looks like we will be mailing them both back to each other since we live so far apart. So... My first convention didn't exactly go how I planned but that's OK because I plan on going to more conventions in the future. I have since then been taking my usual PTSD medications except now I get to take pain meds too lol which actually helps with my past injuries that never healed right. OH! I have also decided that I am so tired of pretending to be something I am not! I have decided to go back to my dark and elegant ways of life! I am and have always been a goth. My family has frowned upon it for so long that I tried my best to be "normal" but I have realized that... I'M NOT HAPPY! I want to be me and dress how I like and express who I am in my own way. Just because I like to wear black and think that bats are a staple for interior design. Does not mean that I worship the devil or that I believe I am a vampire. It simply means that I am able to find beauty in even the darkest of places. I am a girl who has and always will continue to gravitate to... how shall I put this? the "Strange and unusual" I suppose is a good way to put it.  So to sum things up for myself... More conventions!  EMBRACE MY GOTHY LIFE AND F WHAT PEOPLE THINK!
