I go to school about 15 mins south of Philly. But my parents live in Orange Country NY. So I'm here in NY for a few weeks. I miss my friends, independence, and bf a lot... But I get one major plus... Indoor hoop space!!! Since it's the winter and super cold outside, I've been like a prisoner inside. My apt does not have the space to hoop. But my parent's house has a great family room with high ceilings and a big mirror as well so I can see how I'm doing. Oh, and there's dec sound system for music. I love just getting up and hooping here. It's sooo relieving, ya know? I have been so antsy to get my hoop fix. I've been working on some new things too. I've been focusing hard core on hooping to the right (reverse for me). I'm getting better, I've even managed to bring it up over my head like that. Also, I've been working on the picking up from the floor with your foot thing, haha. I got it two or three times so far.

Also, I've found that there are some hoopers in my bf's city. Such a relief when there are none at my school. Another reason hoopcity rules :-)
