Would you call yourself a beginner, intermediate or advanced hooper? Beginner for sure

How often do you hoop? I want to hoop everyday but its been tough :(

Do you have an indoor hoop space? Yes, I made my husband take down his weight bench in the basement so I can have a spot to hoop indoors!!

Is there a hoop group where you live? Not that I know of. not this small town but there is one about an hour away

Did you start it? no

Would you say that you are obsessed with or addicted to hooping? Addicted and obsessed it just feels so good

Have you posted hooping videos? How many? Oh GOD no!!

Do you have friends nearby to hoop with? Yes I do but I would really like to hoop with her more!

Do you teach hooping? I am TOTALLY considering that as an option.

What kind of songs do you listen to while hooping? music that has a good beat and makes me feel like dancing.

What is your favorite song right now to hoop to? I like everything from Rusted Root to Enya and Shakira

Do you buy hoops or make your own? I've bought one and am still waiting for it to arrive...I also made one.

Have you lost weight since starting to hoop? I felt like I was putting some on (clothes felt tighter) before I started hooping but since I started I feel like I am back where I was before... and that is a very good thing

What size is your favorite hoop? It's 40" diameter, 3/4 inch 100 PSI

Are you comfortable hooping by yourself in a public area? Sure I have no issues with that. I know I'm just beginning but I'm having a blast!

How did you learn the majority of the tricks you know today? Youtube

Who is your favorite hoop teacher? I like the amateur videos on youtube and am not sure I have a favorite.

What advice would you give to to beginner hoopers? Be patient with yourself, the bruises will fade and most of all HAVE FUN!

Do you fire hoop? If not, do you want to? I don't have one but sure why not...in time of course.

Do own an LED hoop? Where did you get it? I desperately want one! Waiting till I get a bit better before I invest in a ton of hoops and things, lol

How much time do you spend on Hoop City Hooping Community? I check in for a few minutes a few times a week

What was the first trick you learned (besides waist hooping)? Lifting off overhead and returning to the waist

What is the last trick you mastered? walk through

What trick so far was the hardest for you to learn? knee hooping

Which one are you finding is almost impossible to get? chest hooping

How many hoopers would you say live in your town/city? Just me.

Have you performed hooping in front of an audience? just my husband and some friends

Has anyone told you you were too old to be playing with a hula hoop? Yes people don't get it

What’s the worst injury you’ve acquired from the hoop? some bruises

Have you ever hooped naked? Yes I have and I LOVE it!

Have you been to a hoop camp/retreat? Which one? No but they look like fun!
