I have discovered a joy, peace, and passion in hooping like nothing I have ever found before. Better than any substance, which only brought struggle anyway. When I hoop it is Literally the Only thing I think about, being inside the hoop. I have never found that in anything else, and go figure its a great work out! (I have always hated working out, besides cheerleading in high school)
This past weekend a few of my friends saw me hoop for the first time since I started last fall and were amazed. After admitting they thought it was just a phase, they gave me so many compliments and were so impressed! Today I recruited 2 friends to go to the gym on campus and hoop with me, I'm trying to get them all hooked!, and a basketball player saw me and called over his buddies to look and thought it was so cool haha its just so gratifying to bring other people joy as well :)
Although, I am Obssessed with hooping! I watch videos and tutorials all the time, get ideas, practice, think, talk, and dream about hooping. Even at work, I'm a waitress, I've begun spinning my tray around haha. I have so many things I want to pursue with the hoop now!

When I move to Charleston, SC this summer I really want to start a hoop group if I can't find one, teach a class, sell hoops, and PERFORM!!! (possibly working it into a non profit program for low income children eventually) These are some of my new goals that I feel very strongly about. I would love to join a performance group and hopefully pursue other object manipulation as well as fire spinning! Sorry this is long, I just had to express this love and joy I have found!

All of you beautiful ladies have been such an inspiration to me in many ways and have given me the confidence that I can do these things! Hope to meet some of you along the way, soon!
