Fabricated my hoop yesterday with the help of a friend. 100 psi 3/4" PVC added water and decorated it with electrical tape and various pieces of textured shimmering fluff most of which now adorns the grass and driveway from abuse. I never imagined how great it would feel to hula hoop. As the sun was setting on me last night I was out in the yard with my husband and my son twirling and spinning and not caring about anything beyond exactly where I was. What a fun and freeing time. So now, I find myself obsessing about my hula hoop. I long to get out there and learn new tricks. There is something so sexy about the way my body accepts this twirling, rolling, throwing circle.
Today I ventured outside with my new toy only to discover the "trick" I wanted to practice (knee twirling) was out of the question due to bruising. Looks like I have to take it easy today :(
