Oops, I just found the intro. I have some friends that hoop and thought it might be fun. I went to a Contra Dance week in West Virginia and brought 100' of 3/4" pipe and some tape and decided to try it. I made about 8 hoops and by the end of the week I could waist hoop pretty good. There was a little girl there that was doing some amazing things. I even sold some hoops there. I came back and found this site, which is great as there aren't any hoopers where I live yet, but I'm going to change that. I love to Contra Dance and I bring a few hoops along and practice before the dance starts and usually a few people want to try it. I went to a Cajun dance and brought only 1 hoop and a whole bunch of kids had a blast trying it. I explained how to make a hoop and I think they will try it! I had a request to make a hoop for a friend too! It just makes me smile! looking forward to doing cool things like isolations. I do carpentry and love to ride bicycles, I have 5! and make oatmeal cookies, and dance a lot, cajun, swing, waltz, contra, english country, Border Morris Group, Clogging, Buck Dancing ect. ect. I also love to sk,i x-c and alpine and ice skate.
