I wish I had more time to write this, but I am about to be on my way to work. Just have been having some severe back pains lately, my right shoulder has a knot that has grown and is causing pain from my neck down to my side. I can barely sleep and feel super uncomfortable doing work or anything requiring my to exert myself. I was looking into it and I am starting to wonder if my muscles are incapable of exerting free radicals and instead are just manifesting all the negative energy (mine and others) causing me pain. I have always had a lame back, but never to this extent. I can't really afford to see a chiropractor (although I think I need a massage therapist honestly) and have been thinking about seeing a regular doc to figure out what I can do. I stretch often and don't take pharmaceuticals, but I am really starting to worry I might need a prescription for this. Anyone have thoughts on this? I am feeling stuck and it's getting me pretty down. I hate the thought of being put on medication, but I literally have no idea why my muscles are twisting themselves into knots with no release.

Thanks for reading, any input is appreciated.

oh no im soooo sorry :(  You def need a massage therapist!  I wish I could work on you to help relieve you of this pain.  Try soaking in Epsom salt baths (about one cup).  This is really good for your muscles and joints.  Also, try getting a tennis ball (or something similar in size and shape) place it between your back and the wall.  Roll around on the ball to try and break up those knots.  You can stop on areas that feel sensitive and hold pressure on them.  Sometimes il even use the corner of a wall!  It seems to get right into the spot along the shoulder blade :) Drink a lot of water to help your body flush toxins out.  I really hope this helps <3

i recommend yoga. even doing a simple sun salutation twice a day will help! my yoga instructor began practicing because she threw her back out. good luck!

Thank you! I have started some medicines but I'm determined to get back to hooping, yoga sounds like a great idea.
