I was the lucky winner of the December HoopCity Challenge, and I got a $25 gift certificate from hoopsupplies.com.

First I have got to say that hoopsupplies.com is a wonderful company to deal with. I was a dork and couldn't figure out where to put my gift certificate code, and they emailed me back immediately to let me know how, and they didn't call me a dork. Shipping was lightning quick. I am not sure where they are located but I think it took 2 days to get to me in Georgia. Not to mention that they are awesome for donating to the HoopCity Challenge!  Color me impressed!

I got supplies to make 2 polypro hoops. One 1/2 inch one and one 3/4 inch one. Hubby made them for me last night, so this morning I have just barely played with them yet. The  1/2 inch one kind of freaks me out, because it is REALLY, REALLY thin. I mean, it's exactly what it is supposed to be.. but that is THIN. I had intended to make the 3/4 inch one 32 inches, since I am  very small and only 5'1, and I have read that that works well for short people, but hubby talked me out of it, saying that if he makes it that small we can't make it bigger but that if we make it bigger, we can go smaller if I want. So I went with 34 inches which is still way smaller than what I am used to. I think I am going to like it a lot. I can do a chest roll without worrying about a bloody nose! LOL
