New member..but not new to hooping

I just discovered this site and am in eternal bliss with all the new material and all of my NEW FRIENDS! I live in a town where hula hooping has already been saturated with teachers and shows galore. Yet, all that I have learned has been off of youtube and sites like these! Thankfully, since I was always too poor to attend a class. All I want to do with my time is learn new tricks, find out what the best sizes and weights are for performance hooping. As well as get connected with all you beautiful spinsters out there.

it's so funny to hear about a town that's "saturated" with hoopers. around here in new england, people look at me like i'm crazy walking around town with my hoops! welcome :)

You are def. lucky to live where there are a lot of hoopers. There are very few in the Midwest in general... I would love to be able to meet up with a bunch of hoopers and jam.
