After reading todays article on hooping.org(below) it really got me thinking about my current state of growth in the hoop. I do agree that watching videos of inspirational hoopers has greatly affect my hooping positivity but when I hoop I feel like i'm thinking too much about what I saw and I start adding their movements into my practice. When I notice what i'm doing I feel like well a copy cat and that i'm not really growing or finding my own style. I've decided to stop watching videos of  inspirational hoopers completely. I want to go for at lest two months, and really try to understand my style of flow.

Martika, I think it's great that you're taking a break from videos to hear your own voice in the hoop. If and when you return to watching them for inspiration, I hope you feel confident that there are plenty of ways to make a move your own. Enjoy!
