You've made a positive step already by getting into the hoop and you're already seeing results. Congrats on that! Just keep going with it and ignore the haters; they're just jealous they don't have the courage to rock a hoop like you do.

Also, and this is courtesy of Khaanee, start looking for other small things you can do to help yourself become on the outside the person you see when you close your eyes and visualize who you want to be. If it's a change in wardrobe, start buying a few things as you can. If it's playing with color, try a new shade of lipstick or colored lip balm (or start wearing them if you don't already), or paint your nails some daring new color you wouldn't normally try.

Most important, tell yourself every day that you are beautiful, that God loves you and values you, and that you are worth the efforts you're making to get fit and healthy. Every time a voice of doubt or feat whispers words of worthlessness and defeat, combat those lies with the truth that you are loved, you are beautiful, you are strong, and you are worth the effort and time.

Be blessed! I wish you success on your journey. :)

I have a long way to go on my weight loss journey as well. Having two hg pregnancies (basically means severe morning sickness- I get sick 10-12 times a day the whole pregnancy- blah) back to back, really threw my body out of wack. I have over 100 pounds to lose. It is all about one step at a time. Tiny steps do really add up. Keep spinning your hoop, only eat food you really really enjoy- and stop as soon as you are full. Do things to pamper yourself and remind yourself of how worth it you are.

You have a great start already, with an amazingly fun and confidence building workout, playing with your hoop. Have fun and blessed thoughts to you!

You look AWESOME while hooping in your videos (and, I'm sure, when you're not hooping) -- sexy, fun, happy, and gorgeous.
