So I'm back from my first official Hoop class and it was awesome! Six people showed up and they were all able to get the hoop going in the first 5 minutes. We went over hooping in both directions, the 'switcharoo' (hitting the hoop as it comes around to change directions - got that name from Miss Saturn), hooping on the hips, basic halo and arm hooping, putting both arms in while hooping, a little knee hooping and lots of foot work with the hoop. Everyone did really well and I think I may have enough to make it a regular class! I have two more sessions coming up next week and I'm gathering everyone's info. I even have two hoop orders! This is just so exciting! I love sharing my passion for hoopdance!
