Hey there! I'm still trying to get an Albany group going if you're interested!!

Hello Albany Hooper! SpinJam goes on every Tuesday night at the Riverside Park. If your on Facebook, SpinJam has a page and has more info but people with fun skills like fire juggling, poi, hoops, unicycles, etc, come and get together and practice. Even those who don't perform just come to watch and hang out. It's quite entertaining- especially when all the fire spinners go all at once!! But most importantly, its a place to hoop with other hoopers!!

Hey! I am only 10 minutes from Albany! We should get together and hooP! I am a beginner and would love some insight/help!

Sorry it took me so long to get back....I have a weekly hoop jam session on Sundays at 12:00 in Saugerties at the IXL Health and Fitness and I teach an adult class on Fridays at 5:15 in Rhinebeck at the IXL health and fitness club. If you are doing anything up in Albany let me know I need to get up to the cross gates mall soon...

Oh dear, Lesley... don't feel too bad. I don't think you intended for that to happen at all. The hoops that were damaged were not taped and maybe I can stomp out the elbows. I really don't see how one connector can work though. There just wasn't any give.

You are doing it differently to me, the same way as Rich Porter. I transfer it to one hand in order to then turn with it if I need to...however I think your way looks great and very smooth.
