Thanks for the comments It feels really good to finally be able to keep the hoop up for a longer time and to have learned a few tricks. It no where close to being perfect but it feels great that I was able to do it at all. I remember that feeling of "I"m never going to get this" and with encouragement from the friendly hooping community I didn't give up. You're all an inspiration to me. ^_^ Thanks!

I was the same way. The first day I got a hoop I practiced for 6 hours and couldn't understand how to keep it up. The second day I tried for about four and still couldn't get. Only on the third day could I get it...barely. My roommate was there and recorded it on my cellphone. It looks very awkward. Congrats!

We all start somewhere! You go girl and keep it up. My first video was with a webcam that could'nt keep up and a veerrrrry big hoop. Yes, I laugh at it alll the time!! I still like that first video because it reminds me of how far I have come and inspires me to hoop everyday,,no matter what. go girl!!

haha thats awesome I couldnt keep it up either for the longest time! now it just comes natural with all the practice, good job!
