Thanks so much for posting this-- I'm a big fan of Baxter's touch technique vid* especially, so it was fascinating to hear how he came to hooping. One of the things that makes me so obsessed with hooping is the way it heals us on so many levels, exceeds our expectations & almost magically does whatever we most need it to do... even if we didn't know that we needed it! His story is a perfect example. What began as shoulder rehab became a complete life focus. That's why my motto is "I do whatever my hoop tells me to do." Somehow it knows best!

Baxter's one of those hooper's I've heard a lot about, but never really watched in motion. Thanks for sharing this. It's illuminating to see a person's dance and hear their story as well.

...the overwhelmed mind. Well, that's definitely me! I find my hoop calms and sooths me, and just takes away the stresses of life. This was great to watch, I learnt a lot about the more recent history of hooping and how it has spread and become an art form. He is an amazing hooper. Thanks Paul.
