The Music Box Dancer Experiment
I keep disappearing. Sorry about that. Stuff and things, you know.
I've had this idea sort of kicking around for a while, and it's gone through several pieces of music until I found one that really spurred me to just go on and get this out of my head already.
I wanted to do something that called up a bit of the aesthetic of a music box dancing doll come to life. If the impulse seems odd, bear in mind that the first live ballet I ever, ever saw was Coppélia. Heh.
The music is "Penelope's Theme," and it's my favorite piece of music off of "The Brothers Bloom" soundtrack.

I...LOVE this!!! Very beautiful. I had it pictured in my head like this little girl found this music box and opened it and say you (as the music box dancer) come to life inside the box. This is now one of my favorites =D.
